Checking Audio Output and Input Settings
The first thing you’ll want to do is check your audio output and input settings on your Chromebook. To do this, go to the Chrome settings menu and click on the “Advanced” drop-down. From there, click on the “Audio and Video” sub-menu.
On the next page, you’ll see your audio output and input devices. Make sure that both “Allow sites to access your microphone” and “Allow sites to play sound” are turned on.
You can also set your default audio output and input devices from here. If you want to use your Galaxy Buds as your primary audio source, make sure that they are selected as the default output device.
Chrombook Apps to Help You Fine-Tune Audio Settings
While you’re here, you might as well download a few Chromebook apps to help you fine-tune the audio settings on your Galaxy Buds. My personal favorites are Equalizer APO and Armhf Homefront, but there are plenty of options out there.
Equalizer APO is a great way to adjust the sound of your Galaxy Buds, whether you want to boost the bass or treble, or even just tweak the sound to better suit your taste. It’s a great app for customizing the audio experience on your Chromebook.
Armhf Homefront is another excellent app for audio customisation, and it also happens to be my go-to app for managing all my music files. It’s got an excellent user interface and it’s really easy to use, which makes it perfect for managing your music library on your Chromebook.
